Preparing to Play

• To get the most of your experience, please visit e6golf.com and create a profile using your same name, phone number, and email address as you have used for your Motiv Golf booking.

  • You can create your golf bag and fill it with default clubs or tailor it specifically to your clubs with names, degrees of loft and shaft flex - even if you fade or draw the club.

  • This is where you can review your round history and current stats and performance in any local or global leagues, events and challenges. Every detail is stored.

  • You can also perform a bag mapping session which will enhance the system’s knowledge of each club's performance and gain understanding of your yardages over time.

The E6 experience is best using a tablet, laptop or desktop computer - something with a larger screen than your smartphone.

• Bring your own clean clubs and clean golf shoes. You can expect to use your full set of clubs when playing a round. 

Arriving to Play

• Arrive 15 minutes early with your smartphone or the door PIN code in your memory.

• Enter your PIN code following the instructions in the email or posted by the door.

• Place your clubs at the bag drop and take off your jacket and change into your golf shoes. Please only wear clean golf shoes or indoor closed toed shoes.

• If your booked bay is open, you can go in and get started. Otherwise, spend some time to wash your clubs or clean your golf shoes.

Starting Play

• To start your session, press the touchscreen and login using your E6 username and password or scan the QR code with your smartphone or just join as a guest and rename the guest.

• You can practice at the driving range, perform the bag mapping exercise, take challenges for specific aspects of golfing (short game, scrambling, cupping, putting,...) or start right into playing a full round of golf.

• You can choose from the list of featured courses or hundreds of additional courses (including Haileybury GC and New Liskeard GC soon!).

Playing

• Please use the supplied golf balls. They are supplied because they must be white to be tracked properly and clean of dirt and sharpie marks in order to not damage the screen.

• Please use the supplied rubber basket golf tees. They are supplied because some regular tees can be sharp and damage the screen.

• You can use the voice commands detailed on signage to manage the game and change club selections.

• Place your ball close to the green laser light. The screen should indicate “Ready” on the righthand heads-up-display and the laser light should turn off.

• If after moving the ball around a few inches, the laser light is still searching, it might help to scuff the hitting mat area with your shoe bottom to darken the surface before retrying to place your ball.

Ending Play

• You should start getting ready to leave within 5 minutes before the end of your booking. 

• Fully exit the Apex Software to ensure the next group does not accidentally join your session or use your profile for play.

• Collect balls and tees and place them in the hanging baskets.

• Put clubs into your bag and pack covers and gloves and shoes.

• Dispose all garbage and clean any spills or drips - cleaning supplies are in the sink area of the hall.
